How To Craft A Saw

Before you can harvest wood, you'll need a Saw. You can create a Saw with the help of the Carpenter by bringing him the proper materials. A level-one Saw can be crafted with the following recipe:

Torn Sails and Broken Planks can be harvested near the site of Shipwrecks. There are three Shipwrecks near the East side of Sainte-Anne, each with materials floating in the sea nearby. You also don't need any tools to harvest these resources, you just need to sail close enough to pick them up.

Acacia trees are located in the northern part of Sainte-Anne, as shown by the tree icons when viewing the map. Highlighting these icons will display which type of wood is available at this location. Sail over to this location and get close enough to the tree where you can use your Saw.

How To Harvest Acacia

When close enough and prompted, press the indicated button to Skull and Bones Items start harvesting. To harvest the wood, you have to complete a minigame similar to the one used for salvaging Shipwrecks. In this minigame, you need to stop the moving cursor in the green zones three times. If you fail three times, you'll need to restart the minigame from the beginning.
