This offseason, the Super Bowl 60 champion will be making some very difficult decisions. Free agents like Boye Mafe, Tariq Woolen, Josh Jobe, Coby Bryant, Kenneth Walker, and Rashid Shaheed might not come back for 2026 thanks to some cap restraints. A few can return, but the Seahawks are going to lose some key veterans. One of those po sible departures is, unfortunately, All-Pro wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed. As reports, the speedster's free agent market might eclipse $15 million per-year, which is not good news for the Seahawks. With George Pickens and potentially Alec Pierce accepting the franchise tag, the Seahawks trade deadline pickup might be in store for a huge $15 million per-year deal. He didn't factor into the Seahawks' offense much as a receiver, as he caught just 15 pa ses for 188 yards in nine games after being picked up in a trade. But, he made his calling card as a returner. Shaheed, after the Seahawks traded for him, ran back a punt and a kickoff for a touchdown in the regular season. Then, on the opening play of the Seahawks' Super Bowl run, he returned a 99-yard kickoff in the NFC Divisional round for a TD. More : He's an electric playmaker on special teams and would be someone the Seahawks would love to keep if money weren't an i sue. But with Jaxon Smith-Njigba set to receive a mammoth extension, and Devon Witherspoon also in line for a big deal, the Seahawks don't have that much to spend. This update, with Shaheed slated to make potentially more than $15 million per-year, likely prices the Seahawks out of his market this offseason. A deal could still get done, as John Schneider could decide that Shaheed is a top priority.
